The 2010 Whistler Dragon Boat Festival is sure to bring even more excitement and thrills for everyone involved, from racers to spectators alike as this year’s event will also feature the Canadian National Dragon Boat Championships. Join the teams for a weekend spent in some of the most spectacular scenery in the world filled with beating drums, fierce paddling, cheering spectators, and live entertainment!

Whistler Farmers' Market
The Whistler Farmer’s Market returns to the pedestrian streets of the Upper Village (near the Fairmont Chateau Whistler) every Sunday this summer, featuring local produce from the Pemberton Valley and beyond, tasty artisan foods, live cooking demos by Whistler Chefs and live music. Choose from a selection of crafts, organic and local produce, jams, honey, baked goods, jewellery, and much more. The market runs every Sunday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm

Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake
The Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake features two to four day workshops from beginner to intermediate level instruction in oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, sketching and life drawing. The program is inspired by the beautiful mountain environment of Whistler and Alta Lake Station House, the rustic heritage home located on Alta Lake waterfront with views of Whistler, Blackcomb and Wedge Mountain. The classes run from 9:00 am to approximately 4:00 pm each day.

Barebones Orienteering 2012
A six day orienteering extravaganza in Whistler and Vancouver. The event kicks off with four well planned race events up in the alpine on Whistler mountain, in the Village center, and in the surrounding forests at Lost Lake and Brandywine. Then down to Vancouver for two races scheduled in the majestic beauty of Vancouver at Stanley Park and at the University of British Columbia. The 27th annual Whistler Children’s Art Festival jams Creekside with art workshops, music, acrobatics, theatre, dance, and fun in every corner that encourage kids to embrace their imagination! As well as workshops for kids aged 5 to 11, the Festival includes a pre-school area for children aged 3-5, intermediate workshops for kids in grade 7 and 8 and workshops for the whole family.

Feast in the Mountains showcases BC's culinary bounty by transforming Whistler’s Rebagliati Park into a roaming gourmet sampling of local foods. Spend a summer’s afternoon amidst the Coastal Mountains, wander the park, or savour the creations of BC’s best. Visit each vendor booth comprising of award-winning chefs, farmers, food artisans, vintners and brewers for a sampling of their offerings. Feast in the Mountains raises funds for FarmFolk/CityFolks.

BC Mountain Bike Race
Now in its second year, the BC Cup Mountain Bike Race takes place at Whistler Olympic Park. It is for professional, amateur, and citizen bike racers. Competitors ride on single-track courses throughout the park with professionals battling for BC Cup points and citizens for bragging rights. The 8 km course has varied terrain providing a challenge for all riders.
