Whistler Jazz and Blues Festival
Phat Wednesdays Freeride Series
Mountain Bike Park every second
Wednesday for a downhill race similar to the Toonie Rides. Each race takes place
on a different trail or course so you never know what you’re going to get. All
ages and skill levels welcome. Après at the GLC. Sign in at 5:00 pm.

B.C. Bike Race: The Pacific Traverse
B.C. Bike Race is much more than
the challenge of the ride...it's about everything experienced along the way.
Competitors race the best single-track in the world from Vancouver to Whistler,
solo or in teams of two, three, four, or five.

This 7th annual free two-month walking tour features regional
artists and artisans in host galleries throughout Whistler Village
including cafes, retail outlets, hotels and restaurants. Artists
from Lions Bay to Lillooet showcase works of painting, photography,
multi-media, fibre arts, sculpture, pottery and jewellery. Dates to

Whistler Dragon Boat Festival
The 2010 Whistler
Dragon Boat Festival is sure to bring even more excitement and
thrills for everyone involved, from racers to spectators alike as
this year’s event will also feature the Canadian National Dragon
Boat Championships. Join the teams for a weekend spent in some of
the most spectacular scenery in the world filled with beating drums,
fierce paddling, cheering spectators, and live entertainment!

Whistler Farmers' Market
Farmer’s Market returns to the pedestrian streets of the Upper
Village (near the Fairmont Chateau Whistler) every Sunday this
summer, featuring local produce from the Pemberton Valley and
beyond, tasty artisan foods, live cooking demos by Whistler Chefs
and live music. Choose from a selection of crafts, organic and local
produce, jams, honey, baked goods, jewellery, and much more. The
market runs every Sunday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm

Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake
The Whistler Art Workshops on
the Lake features two to four day workshops from
beginner to intermediate level instruction in
oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, sketching
and life drawing. The program is inspired by the
beautiful mountain environment of Whistler and
Alta Lake Station House, the rustic heritage
home located on Alta Lake waterfront with views
of Whistler, Blackcomb and Wedge Mountain. The
classes run from 9:00 am to approximately 4:00
pm each day.

Barebones Orienteering 2012
six day orienteering extravaganza in Whistler
and Vancouver. The event kicks off with four
well planned race events up in the alpine on
Whistler mountain, in the Village center, and in
the surrounding forests at Lost Lake and
Brandywine. Then down to Vancouver for two races
scheduled in the majestic beauty of Vancouver at
Stanley Park and at the University of British
Columbia. Highlights will include wonderful
terrain, a lake-side social, and a mountain-top

Whistler Children's Art Festival
The 27th annual
Whistler Children’s Art Festival jams Creekside with art workshops,
music, acrobatics, theatre, dance, and fun in every corner that
encourage kids to embrace their imagination! As well as workshops
for kids aged 5 to 11, the Festival includes a pre-school area for
children aged 3-5, intermediate workshops for kids in grade 7 and 8
and workshops for the whole family.
Trek Dirt Series: Mountain Bike Skills
looking to learn new skills, increase your confidence on the bike,
or simply enjoy the sport like never before, the Trek Dirt Series
mountain bike camps are for you. They offer personalized
instruction, professional programming, and an incredibly skilled,
enthusiastic, and supportive coaching staff. This is a co-ed clinic
for men and women. The Dirt Series is a skill development program
like no other to build confidence, fuel success, and enrich lives
through mountain biking.

Canadian National BBQ Championships
National BBQ Championships is the highlight of the Pacific
Northwest's competitive BBQ circuit and a tantalizing weekend of
tasting and sampling. Watch master grillers at work as they compete

Feast In the Mountains
Feast in the
Mountains showcases BC's culinary bounty by transforming Whistler’s
Rebagliati Park into a roaming gourmet sampling of local foods.
Spend a summer’s afternoon amidst the Coastal Mountains, wander the
park, or savour the creations of BC’s best. Visit each vendor booth
comprising of award-winning chefs, farmers, food artisans, vintners
and brewers for a sampling of their offerings. Feast in the
Mountains raises funds for FarmFolk/CityFolks.
This is one of the
hottest events in Whistler! This premier mountain bike festival
features free ride competitions, pro riding demos, FREE music and

BC Mountain Bike Race
Now in its
second year, the BC Cup Mountain Bike Race takes place at Whistler
Olympic Park. It is for professional, amateur, and citizen bike
racers. Competitors ride on single-track courses throughout the park
with professionals battling for BC Cup points and citizens for
bragging rights. The 8 km course has varied terrain providing a
challenge for all riders.
